Carol has been an animal lover all her life - from birds and snakes to horses and dogs. While growing up her family owned parakeets, dogs, cats, quail, ponies, and the occasional fish and turtle. As a youngster, she'd often be on a pony's back before school started for the day, loving the freedom of an early morning ride. As an adult she has interacted with and cared for dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, snakes, iguanas, Solomon Island skinks, marine life, and even hissing cock roaches. When her two children were young, she helped them rescue a baby squirrel which they nurtured for five weeks until he was adopted back to the wild by a mommy squirrel. Carol is a believer in the ripple effect and is honored to help care for and love your animal companions, thus making this world a little better place. Carol enjoys riding her bike on local Greenways, writing, reading, art, Sudoku, nature, and discovery. Carol founded Wee Walk in May, 2011.
